# Notifications

> Read system and archive updates in the side panel, and manage pop-up toasts.

Ready archives and system announcements collect in the **Notifications** tab of the right side panel.

## Open your notifications

### Step 1: Click the panel button

Click the side-panel button at the top right of the board (**Show notifications**). A bell with a lime dot means something is unread.

### Step 2: Filter the list

Choose **All**, **System** or **Generation**.

### Step 3: Act on a card

Use **Open archive** when an archive is ready, **Download** on a generation card, or follow a remote-board link.

### Step 4: Mark as read

Opening the tab marks items as seen. The **Notification actions** menu has **Refresh** and **Mark all read**; **Load more** shows older items.

Generations that finish normally on your board don't send a notification. Sometimes a run that finished after you left the board, took a long time, or lost its board item shows up under **Generation** as a **… is ready** card marked **Background generation**, with **Download**.

Don't rely on that card alone. When you come back, check **Background generations** above the prompt box, or [Generation History](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/generation/history-and-errors.md).

## Toasts

Short messages appear at the top right, below the top controls, after actions like copying a link or paying. Success messages fade on their own; errors and warnings stay until you close them. With more than one, **Clear all** above the stack dismisses them all.
