# Privacy and your data

Most of what you make stays in your browser. This page covers the choices you control in the app.

## Cookie and privacy preferences

Open **Settings → General**, find **Privacy → Cookie preferences** and click **Manage** to choose which categories to allow. **Consent Preferences** in the site footer opens the same dialog. If it doesn't load, check your connection or content blocker.

The desktop app has its own first-run privacy choices; see [Desktop app](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/desktop.md#privacy-choices-on-first-run). Change them later in **Settings → General → Privacy**.

## Assistant data

The first time you open the Assistant, **Before using AI Assistants** explains that conversations may be collected, reviewed, processed by third-party AI providers, and stored for up to 90 days. You must click **Start Assistant** to continue.

To control collection, use the **Collect Assistant sessions** toggle in **Settings → Chatbot Usage**. See [Assistant](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/generation/assistant.md).

## Delete your account

There's no self-serve delete button yet. Email [support@yaroflasher.com](mailto:support@yaroflasher.com) from your account address and ask for removal. You can sign out other devices any time in **Settings → Sessions**.
