# Referrals

> Invite friends with your personal link and track the credits you earn.

When someone you invite pays for their first subscription, you both earn credits. Everything lives in **Settings → Referrals** (web only).

> **Note: Rollout.** Rewards work only while the referral program is switched on. If it isn't, the tab says "The referral program is not enabled yet." instead of showing your link.

## Share your link

### Step 1: Open Referrals

Open **Settings → Referrals**.

### Step 2: Copy your link

Click the copy button. "Referral link copied." appears.

### Step 3: Send it

Your friend lands on the sign-up page, and the referral counts if they create a new account within 30 days.

## What you earn

* The person you invite gets a reward right after their first paid subscription, usually 10% of the payment.
* Your reward stays **Pending** for 15 days, then is granted if the payment is still valid.
* If you joined through a link yourself, a **Your referral bonus** card shows its status: granted, pending or locked. That bonus expires 3 years after it is granted; credits you earn for inviting others don't expire.

The tiles show **Spendable** (or **Locked**), **Pending**, **Paid referrals** and **Total referral credits earned**. Open **How referrals work** for more.

### Locked and spendable

Referral credits can only be spent while the program is on and your subscription is active; otherwise they show as **Locked**. They're spent after subscription and top-up credits.

## When you can't share

Instead of the link, you may see the reason:

* "Email verification is required." See [Sign up and sign in](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/account/sign-in.md).
* "Account is not active."
* "Referral code is disabled."
* "The referral program is not enabled yet."
