# Settings > A tour of every tab in the Settings modal and what each one does. Open it with the **User settings** button (person icon) at the bottom-right of the board. Some tabs sit lower in the list; scroll the sidebar if you don't see the one you want. You can also open a tab directly from a link, such as [Generation History](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/panel?settings=history), [Account](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/panel?settings=account) or [Health](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/panel?settings=health). Sign in first if asked. If your account can't use the requested tab, **General** opens instead. On a phone, swipe the tab strip across the top to reach more tabs. The active tab scrolls into view when you open Settings. > **Note: Missing a tab?.** Some tabs depend on your account. **Chatbot Usage** only appears with Assistant access, and **Developer** needs you to be signed in on the web. ## Account tabs | Tab | What it does | | ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Profile** | Edit your full name and nickname. Your email can't be changed here. | | **Account** | Sign out, see your plan, renewal date and balance, change or manage your plan, and top up. | | **Referrals** | Copy your referral link and track referrals and earned credits. See [Referrals](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/account/referrals.md). | | **Storage** | How much of your plan's remote board storage you've used, your published boards, and pending exports. | | **Sessions** | Browsers and devices signed in to your account. Sign out one, or all others. | | **Developer** | **Connect via MCP** (the MCP server URL for any client that supports OAuth), API keys for scripts and CLI tools, and **Connected apps** you've approved. See [Storage](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/boards/storage.md). | ## Preferences tabs These sit below a **Settings** divider and apply only in this browser. | Tab | What it does | | ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **General** | **Theme**, see [Theme](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/account/settings.md#theme) below. Board display: **Board Background** (None, Grid or Dots) and its opacity, **Background Color**, **Snap to Grid**, **Media Placeholders** (light tiles instead of media when zoomed far out, to keep big boards fast), **Default Media Width** (the width in pixels, 32 to 4096, of new media added to the board), **Show AI Panel**, **Pinned File Info panel** and **Show Feature Update Pop-ups**. **Privacy** is covered in [Privacy and your data](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/account/privacy.md). | | **FFmpeg & Media** | A quick test of the in-browser video tools, plus **FFmpeg Diagnostics** to send to support. See [Models and workflows](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/generation/models-and-workflows.md). ### Show AI Panel **Show AI Panel** is on by default. Turning it off hides the prompt box, the input list and **Models** in the bottom toolbar, so you can't generate. To get them back, click **User settings** (still in the bottom toolbar), open **General** and turn **Show AI Panel** on again. ## Theme FlashBoards is dark by default. To change it, open the FlashBoards menu (logo) and choose **View → Theme**, or open **User settings**, go to **General**, and under **Appearance** pick a **Theme**. It changes right away. Another browser or computer keeps its own choice. What changes: * **The board and its windows.** The canvas, toolbars, prompt box, Settings and other windows. Shared boards you open follow your theme too. The rest of the site stays dark. * **White marks become dark.** White arrows, pen strokes and shape outlines are drawn in dark ink on the Light board, so they stay visible. Colored marks keep their color. Nothing on the board is changed; switch back and they're white again. Your images and videos look the same in both themes.
