# Media Browser > Browse, search, select, download and favorite everything on your boards, and add ready-made collection packs. Use it to find, favorite, download or delete files, and to add assets from collection packs. To preview or compare files full screen, use the board instead. See [Preview and compare](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/media/preview-and-compare.md). ## Open the Media Browser Click **Files** (the stacked squares button) in the bottom toolbar. Click it again or press `Esc` to close. ![The Media Browser with the library sidebar, file grid and preview panel](https://media.yaroflasher.com/docs/media/media-browser-overview.w1800.026b10f6.webp) ## Sidebar * **Board** picker: switches the active board. * **Board Files**: media on the active board (not items still generating). * **Recent**: media on the active board whose recorded last-used date, or otherwise added date, is within the past seven days. Items with no valid date or a future date do not appear. * **Favorites**: files you starred on any board, labelled with their board. * **Assets**: collection packs such as **Memes Vol. 1**, **Models Vol. 1**, **Poses Vol. 1**, **Haircuts Vol. 1**, **Clothes Vol. 1** and **Locations Vol. 1**. * **Cameo Library**: your Cameo characters. See [Cameo Library](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/media/cameo.md). **Hide sidebar** and **Show sidebar** toggle it. On phones, the sidebar starts closed; use **Show sidebar** to choose a board or collection. ## Search, sort and view * Type in **Search files, tags...** to match a file name or tag in the current section. * Sort by **Name**, **Date Added** (newest first) or **Type**. * Switch between grid and list with the icon buttons. In grid view, the **Size:** slider sets thumbnail size. ## Look closer * **Peek:** hold `Alt` (Option on Mac) and hover a thumbnail for a large preview. Release to dismiss. * **Play on hover:** hover a video card to play it. * **File details:** hover a card and click the eye button **Open preview panel** (grid), click **Preview** (list), or right-click and choose **Preview**. The panel shows name, format, size, dimensions and date. Generated media also has an **AI Generated** section with the model, prompt, inputs and settings. Copies of generated items keep it. A web image or video saved with **Download to Board** doesn't have one. **Use This File** selects the item on the canvas. ## Find an item on the board Double-click a card in **Board Files**. The view centres on the item and the browser closes. A card in **Favorites** also switches to its board. On a touch screen, the checkbox and favorite button are already visible. The selection bar offers: * **Download selected as ZIP** * **Reset position to board center** and **Delete selected items** (Board Files and Recent only) * The add button, when a collection pack is open There is no select-all. To download one file, right-click its card and choose **Download**. Several files download as one ZIP. > **Warning: Delete has no confirmation.** **Delete selected items** acts straight away. Press `⌘ + Z` to undo. Deleted media keeps using storage until you clean up in **Health**. See [Storage and backups](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/boards/storage.md). ## Favorites To favorite an item, click the star **Add to favorites** in its toolbar, the heart on its Media Browser card, or right-click its Media Browser card and choose **Add to Favorites**. The **Favorites** star in the bottom toolbar opens a compact panel. Filter by board, click a tile to focus the item, or click X to remove it. ## Add collection packs Open a pack under **Assets**, then: * Double-click an asset to add it at the centre of your view, or * Tick several assets and click the add button in the selection bar. Assets are copied into the board with the pack's tags. If a pack can't load, click **Download collection** or **Retry download**. Collection packs are not **Official Board Packs**, which create whole boards. See [Board packs](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/sharing/board-packs.md). ## Export PNG and the cost chip The three-dot **More actions** menu has **Export PNG…**, **Export Board**, **Import Board**, **Export Selected** and **Import Media**. **Export Selected** doesn't work on the web app yet. Select items on the board and use **Download selected** instead. In **Export PNG**, pick **Whole board** or **Selection**, a **Scale** from 0.5x to 4x, **Padding** and a **Background**. It only exports still images, notes, drawings, shapes and arrows. If the board has video, audio or GIFs, select only compatible items, or save a still frame of the video first. If an export fails, try a smaller selection or a lower **Scale**. For board files, see [Import and export](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/boards/import-export.md). The preview shows the layout and output size, with placeholders for images and text. **Use a fixed export region** lets you enter **X**, **Y**, **W** and **H** in board coordinates. Padding is added around that region before the scale is applied. On boards with generated media, hover the `$` chip in the toolbar for an estimated total cost. ### Details: PNG export limits Up to 256 items. The result can be up to 8192 pixels per edge and 16 megapixels. Each source image can be up to 32 megapixels, and all sources together up to 64 megapixels. The PNG file can be up to about 32 MB. ## Context menu actions Right-click a media item on the board for **Preview**, **Create Group** or **Ungroup**, **Copy Link**, **Download to Board**, **Download**, **Duplicate**, **Move to Board**, **Copy to Board** and **Delete**. Actions that don't apply to the file, your account or a read-only board are hidden. Tools such as splitting are in **More actions**.
