# Keyboard shortcuts

> Every board shortcut in one place. On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl where Apple devices use Cmd.

Shortcut hints in the app, such as **Undo (⌘+Z)** or **Generate (⌘+Enter)**, show `⌘` on Apple devices and `Ctrl` everywhere else. The **Windows** column below applies to Linux too.

## Navigation and view

On Mac, `⌘ + H` hides the app, so use `Control + H` for prompt history. Keyboard zoom also works in the prompt box: it moves focus out of the prompt and zooms the board. In other text fields, click the canvas first.

In the in-app list, **Mouse Wheel** zooms and **Drag Empty Board** pans. **Right Click** on an item opens its context menu.

## AI generation

`⌘ + Enter` (Windows: `Ctrl + Enter`) in the prompt box works like **Generate**, using the prompt as shown. It normally starts a paid run; model runs can require [price review](https://flashboards.yaroflasher.com/docs/generation/billing.md#confirmation-and-auto-approve). Add `Shift` for a supported batch, which opens **Review batch price** first. Holding the keys or repeating them within about a second does not start another run.

## Drawing mode

`Esc` throws the drawing away. While you type in a text field, such as the prompt box or a note, these shortcuts leave the drawing draft intact. Click **Done** to finish it.

## History

Each local board keeps up to 10 undo steps. Shared boards have no undo.
