Import / Export

Your boards are stored in browser local storage. Use Export and Import to back up boards or move them between devices.

1. Open Media Browser

Click the Files button (stacked-layers icon) in the bottom toolbar to open the Media Browser.

2. Use Import / Export

In the Media Browser, open the More actions menu (three dots, upper right) and choose Export Board or Import Board.

  • 1Export Board — Save your board as a .refboard file
  • 2Import Board — Load a previously exported .refboard (or .zip) file

Good To Know

Export your boards regularly as a backup. Browser data can be cleared by system cleanup or browser settings.

Exported .refboard files include board data and the media files FlashBoards can collect. Media reported as missing during export is not backed up. You can import the archive on another device with FlashBoards.
