Deleting your data
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Disconnect a social account
Sign in to FlashBoards, open Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect next to the account under Social accounts. FlashBoards deletes the account's access tokens at once, asks the network to drop its access and cancels the account's posts that have not been published yet. Statistics and comments FlashBoards stored from that account are deleted within 7 days. Posts already published stay on the network; delete them there if you want them gone.
Remove access from the network's side
You can also remove FlashBoards' access in the network's own settings. FlashBoards then treats the account as disconnected and deletes its data in the same way. Accounts connected through Zernio, FlashBoards' publishing partner, appear there under the name Zernio:
- YouTube (Google account): remove FlashBoards under Third-party apps & services.
- Facebook and Instagram: remove FlashBoards under Business Integrations (Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites).
- Threads: remove FlashBoards under Account → Website permissions.
- TikTok: remove FlashBoards under Security and permissions → Apps and services.
- X: remove the app under Connected apps.
