The annual discount applies to the subscription payment itself - not to the monthly balance allocation.

How Subscription Balance Works
FlashBoards uses a real USD balance system instead of abstract credits.
Your account contains two separate balances:
Subscription Balance
Included with your subscription plan.
- Refreshes monthly
- Used first during AI generations
- Unused balance expires before the next monthly refresh
- Determined by your active subscription plan
Top-Up Balance
Added through one-time purchases.
- Expires after 3 years
- Used after subscription balance
- Remain in your balance after your subscription ends
- Follow the same payment restrictions as other spending
- Available on all plans except the Free plan
Generation costs are deducted directly from your balances based on the selected workflow and model.
Subscription Lifecycle
New Subscription Purchase
- Subscription balance is added immediately
- Access to plan features begins instantly
Monthly Renewal
- The remaining subscription balance expires
- The new monthly subscription balance is added
Upgrade to a Higher Plan
- Remaining subscription balance moves into Top-Up balance
- The new higher-plan subscription balance is added immediately
- Upgrade takes effect instantly
- This ensures the unused balance is not lost during upgrades.
Scheduled Downgrade
- Downgrade activates at the next renewal date
- The new lower-plan subscription balance is added after renewal
Subscription Cancellation
- Subscription remains active until the end of the billing period
- The remaining subscription balance expires after the subscription ends
- No future renewals are charged
Switching from Monthly to Annual
- Annual plan activates immediately
- Remaining monthly subscription balance transfers into the Top-Up balance
- Annual billing starts instantly
- Monthly subscription balance refreshes continue throughout the annual term
Top-Ups
Top-Ups can be purchased at any time on any plan.
- Expires after 3 years
- Separate from subscription balance
- Ideal for temporary workload spikes or large production runs

Image and video estimates are based on the lowest-cost available workflows. Actual output counts vary depending on selected models, settings, duration, and generation type.
Generation estimates are dynamically updated based on current workflow pricing and infrastructure costs.
