Sign up and sign in

Create an account, verify your email, sign in, and recover a forgotten password.

FlashBoards accounts use an email address and a password; there's no social sign-in.

Create an account

Open the sign-up page

Go to /signup, or click Create one under the sign-in form.

Fill in the form

Enter Name, Email address, Password and Confirm Password. Passwords need at least 8 characters and no spaces.

Accept the terms

Tick I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Create the account

Click Create Account. You'll see Check Your Email.

NoteRegistration can be closed

If public sign-up is closed, /signup takes you to the sign-in page and Create one is hidden. A referral link doesn't reopen it.

Verify your email

Click the link in the verification email. It signs you in and opens the FlashBoards home page; click Panel to reach your board. The link expires after 1 hour, and unverified accounts may be removed after 14 days.

If the link expired, or you sign in before verifying, enter your email on the sign-in page and click Resend verification email. Only one email is sent per hour, so if you see "Verification email already sent", check your spam folder or wait.

Go to /login, enter Email address and Password, and click Sign In. You stay signed in for 14 days, renewed each day you use FlashBoards. Your browser must allow cookies.

If you opened a board or Settings link while signed out, you return to it after signing in.

Forgot your password

Click Forgot password? under the sign-in form, enter your email and click Send reset link.

Set a new password

Click Reset password in the email, enter the new password twice and click Update password. The link expires after 1 hour.

Sign in again

Password Updated appears. You're signed out everywhere, so sign in again.

If the link is invalid or expired, click Request new link.

Sign out

Open Settings → Account and click Sign Out beside your name. To sign out other devices, use Sessions in Settings.
