Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for the most common FlashBoards problems.
Open the question that matches your problem.
The run finished and was charged (or its billing is still being confirmed), but its file couldn't be saved to your board. The result is kept. Click Retry on the placeholder. If it reads Not saved: storage full, click Free up space to open Settings → Health and make room first. You can also get the file from Settings → Generation History. See History and errors.
Local boards are saved in your browser. They can vanish if you cleared site data, used a private window, or switched browser or device. Check the browser and profile you used before. Recent generations may still be in Settings → Generation History. To avoid this, export boards regularly; see Storage.
Your browser refused to save the change. It works until you close the tab. Keep the tab open, allow site data for FlashBoards or free up storage, then change a setting (or a model parameter) again to retry. Don't clear site data: it can delete local boards. See Storage.
Your browser hasn't agreed to protect FlashBoards data from cleanup. Nothing is lost yet. Allow site data for flashboards.yaroflasher.com (Chrome and Edge) or accept the permission prompt (Firefox), and back up important boards.
Click Files (stacked squares) in the bottom toolbar, then More actions (three dots), then Import Board. You can also drop the .refboard file onto the board. Import Media is only for loose files. See Import and export.
Some files couldn't be read. Reopen the board, re-import or replace the missing files, then export again.
Your browser may not play that MOV, or the model may not accept it. Convert it to MP4 or WebM and import it again. See Supported formats.
Generate is disabled until you pick a model. If you just clicked it, a second click within about a second is ignored with an Already started notice, so you don't pay twice. After that, read the error card at the bottom of the board. Common causes: a missing image, video or audio input, a missing prompt, "Generation inputs are out of sync…" (clear and reattach the inputs), a plan or balance limit, or a payment issue. On a shared board, make a local copy first. See Inputs and references.
A single run normally starts straight away, even with an estimated ~ price. For model runs, Review generation price opens when the whole-job price is higher than the button showed. Model and supported workflow Shift batches open Review batch price before starting. Workflow prices are estimates, not spending caps. Check the price and confirm, or close the window to cancel. If the inputs, settings, Safe Mode or price change during review, close it and review again. See Billing.
The model has been switched off and can't start new runs. Pick another model in Models. Archived models still run; switched-off models are hidden from the catalog.
Open Settings → Generation History, turn off Success and Active so only failed runs show, and click Error details. Confirmed failed image, video and audio generations are not charged, but Describe and Transcript can be charged for completed processing even when no usable text is returned. A timeout or unresolved billing can leave funds on hold; check the run before retrying. If the failed chip is still above the prompt box and its board still exists, click Reuse prompt, model, and inputs to restore the setup, then adjust and try again or switch model. Chips clear when you reload. See History and errors.
Check the run and its charged amount in Generation History, including Failed runs. Describe and Transcript can be charged for completed processing even if no usable text is returned; unresolved processing or billing can also leave funds on hold. If the board shows Not saved yet, the run finished and was charged, and the result is kept: click Retry, or get the file from Generation History. A timed-out run may also have finished later. If it still looks wrong, email support@yaroflasher.com.
Video runs can take several minutes. Check Generation History before starting the same run again: the original may still finish and be charged. If its board or placeholder is gone, look under Background generations above the prompt box and click Check background generations. Automatic checks require a visible tab and a signed-in session, may slow after errors, and eventually pause. Cancel only appears when a run can be cancelled.
That's fine: edits sync between tabs within about a second, and each tab keeps its own open board. The prompt box and the active model are currently shared by all tabs, so check both before you click Generate. If you delete a board that another tab has open, that tab switches boards and shows This board was deleted in another tab. Clean Up in Settings → Health stays disabled until you close the other tabs. See Manage boards.
Some tabs depend on your account or beta access. Chatbot Usage needs Assistant chat access. See Settings.
The board may be unpublished, still processing, or private to someone else. If it shows Preparing remote board, wait. Otherwise sign in with the account that has access, or ask the owner for a new link. See Shared boards.
Shared boards are read-only. Click Create local copy (the copy icon) in the Remote read-only board notice to make an editable local copy.
You reached your plan's board limit. Delete a board you don't need, or upgrade. See Manage boards.
Refresh the page and try again. If it still fails, open Settings → FFmpeg & Media, click Copy in the FFmpeg Diagnostics panel, and send the result to support. See Media tools.
Describe needs a readable image or video within the size limit. Transcript needs audio or video with sound, up to 3 minutes. See Describe and transcribe.
You're doing the same action too fast. Wait the time shown and try again. If it keeps happening after you refresh and sign in again, contact support with the action and roughly when it happened.
That's Media Placeholders keeping big boards fast. Zoom in and the media loads again. To always show media, turn it off in Settings → General.
Show AI Panel is turned off. Click User settings in the bottom toolbar, open General and turn Show AI Panel on. See Settings.
A blocker, a strict network filter or old cached files stopped part of FlashBoards from loading. Disable ad and privacy blockers for this site, turn off your VPN or try another network, then hard refresh the page. You can also click Reload Page or Try Again.
Click Try Again. If it still fails, reload the page. See Assistant.
