Board Archives
Open, check, export, publish and remove boards from one manager, including your published Remote Boards.
Board Archives manages all your boards, including the ones you published as Remote Boards.
Open it
Click the board name in the bottom toolbar, then click the archive icon (Board Archives) in the BOARDS panel header.
Each board shows its Items count and Size. On phones, open Actions for “board name” to see its actions. On wider screens, use the icons on the row:
- Open board: switch to it and close the manager.
- Check board health: open Board Health.
- Export board: save it as a
.refboard. - Publish as remote board: share a read-only link. See Publish a board.
- Remove board: delete it after you confirm.
NotePublishing is for subscribers
The publish icons appear only with an active subscription. Empty boards can't be published.
Export one board
Click Export board. In Chrome and Edge, your browser first asks where to save the .refboard file when the board is large (over about 512 MB) or some media sizes are unknown. Smaller boards download straight away. A progress bar shows on the row.
- To cancel, click the same button, now an X (Stop export).
- If you cancel the save dialog, nothing is exported and you see Export cancelled. If the dialog fails, FlashBoards may try a normal browser download. That fallback can handle only archives up to about 512 MiB. For larger boards, retry in desktop Chrome or Edge, or split the board. If another save dialog is already open, finish or cancel it first.
- When done, the row shows Exported, or how many files couldn't be included.
- An archive can't be larger than 4 GB. Split bigger boards or compress heavy videos first.
- Very large boards need desktop Chrome or Edge.
See Import and export for more on archives.
Export all boards
Click Export All in the footer and choose a folder. Each board with content is saved there. The button turns into Stop with a count, and the footer shows how many boards were exported, failed or skipped. Most other actions pause while it runs.
If Export All is disabled, your browser can't save to a folder. Export boards one at a time instead.
Remove a board
Click Remove board. The same Delete “board name”? dialog as in the Boards dropdown opens and says what you lose: the board, its undo history and any media only this board uses. Click Delete board, or Cancel to keep it. Board Archives stays open afterwards. You can't remove your last board. While the board, or Export All, is exporting, the delete button stays disabled until the export finishes.
If generations are still pending or running for the board, the dialog says how many and the button reads Delete anyway. Runs already submitted may finish and be charged. Image and video results can show up under Background generations. See Manage boards.
Removing a local board doesn't delete its published Remote Board.
Your Remote Boards
Published boards show a green Remote badge. A status chip appears while a board is processing or needs attention (for example failed, stale or unpublished). No chip means it's live. Click the /share/... link to open the page.
A published board has these icons:
- Reupload remote board: replace it, or retry after a failure.
- Unpublish remote board: take the link offline.
- Queue Remote Board deletion: delete it permanently.
- Manage Remote Board access: shown when the board itself isn't in this browser.
Remote boards not in this browser lists boards you published from another browser or device. You can still unpublish, delete or manage access for them. Click Load more Remote Boards for older ones.
Clean up an incomplete upload
If a publish was interrupted, an Incomplete uploads section appears at the top. Click the trash icon and confirm to cancel it. No published board is deleted. If your session expired, sign in again first.
