Billing

See what a generation costs, when you are charged, and where to review your spending.

FlashBoards uses a real-dollar balance, not credits. Each model and workflow has its own price, and you pay for what you run.

What you are charged for

You pay for generations that succeed.

  • Successful runs are charged, even if you dislike or delete the result later.
  • Confirmed failed and cancelled image, video and audio generations aren't charged. Describe and Transcript follow the confirmed processing result: completed requests can be charged even if no usable text is returned.
  • If a run finished but didn't make it onto your board, it's still charged and the result is kept. The placeholder on the board reads Not saved yet: click Retry, or get the file from Generation History. See History and errors.
  • A run marked as timed out may still finish and be charged. Check Generation History before running it again.
  • Two successful runs are two charges, even if they look alike.

How a charge works

Hold

When a run starts, its estimated cost is put on hold. Your balance doesn't drop yet, but the hold counts against what you can start next. That's why you may see Insufficient balance while other runs are in progress. While anything is on hold, Settings → Account shows Held for runs in progress and Balance after holds, the amount you can still start runs with.

Processing

The hold stays in place until the result comes back.

Charge or release

On success you're charged and the hold is lifted. Workflow charges follow actual usage. The estimate is not a spending cap, so the final charge may be higher or lower. Confirmed failed or cancelled generations release the hold without a charge. Describe and Transcript may keep funds on hold while processing or billing is unresolved; a failure message alone does not confirm that the hold was released.

Check the price first

Model cards show the model's estimate. The Generate button shows the estimate for your current inputs and settings, including selected images that will fill an empty slot. Attached reference videos can change it for some video models. A price that starts with ~ is an estimate from your prompt, references and settings. Prices change over time; see the pricing page.

With Auto-Upscale on, the price on Generate includes the base run and active upscale steps. Hover the price to see the breakdown. Upscaling still runs and is charged separately after the original finishes. When you hold Shift to generate for several selected items, each item is its own paid run, and Review batch price shows each item's price and the total before anything starts. Workflow prices are estimates, not spending caps.

During a promotion, the price on the button and in the review window already includes the discount, and that's the price you approve.

Confirmation and auto-approve

Click Generate or press ⌘Enter in the prompt box to start a paid run. A price beginning with ~ is an estimate.

  • Model runs: FlashBoards checks the whole-job price before starting. If it is higher than the button showed, Review generation price asks you to approve it. Changed inputs or prices require a new review.
  • Ordinary workflow runs: start without this price review, and the final charge follows actual usage.
  • Shift batches: model and supported workflow batches open Review batch price first, with one paid run per item. Workflow charges follow actual usage and may exceed the estimate.

Repeat clicks within about a second are ignored.

When the Assistant proposes a paid generation, it waits for your approval. Turn on Auto-approve paid runs to let it start generations without that card, subject to the session limit you choose. Leave it off to approve each proposed generation. Assistant replies are billed separately and do not wait for generation approval.

How many runs you can have going at once

  • No active plan: 2
  • Starter: 10
  • Creator: 20
  • Pro: 50
  • Enterprise: highest

Some board runs wait in a local queue, showing Queued or Waiting for slot.... Different types of runs use separate queues. Work in the same tab, another tab or a connected tool can still fill your account's slots; if you see Concurrent generation limit reached, wait for a run to finish before starting again.

Runs you can't stop

Only workflow runs can be cancelled. For other runs:

  • The X on a Still processing placeholder only removes the placeholder. The run keeps going and is charged if it finishes.
  • Deleting a board, or stopping the Assistant, doesn't stop runs already started.
  • Results that finish after their placeholder or board is gone appear under Background generations above the prompt box, where you can add them to the current board.

Where to review spending

  • Settings → Generation History lists billed, failed and in-progress runs with model, date and amount, including runs no longer on a board.
  • Settings → Account shows your balance and plan.

NoteBoard totals are not your full spend

A board's cost summary only counts what's on that board now. Use Generation History for what you actually paid.

Refunds

Deleting a result doesn't reverse a charge, and poor quality alone isn't a reason for a refund. Refunds are reviewed for technical problems that stopped you using a result, duplicate charges and billing errors. Email support@yaroflasher.com within 14 days of the transaction with your account email and transaction details.
